After 10 minutes of the second half Scotstown increased their advantage to 5 points with fine scores from Ruairi Sheehan (from free), Finlay Foy and James McElwain. However with 12 minutes to go Rockcorry scored a goal from a penalty reducing their deficit to just 2 points at 0-10 to 2-2. Our Condolences It is with deep sadness that we learnt of the passing of Eddie McKenna (Hughie). We would like to offer our deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to his son Dara (Emer) and daughter Grainne (Barry Mc Namee); his much-loved grandchildren, Sheenagh, Caolán, Aoife, Aoibheann, Niall and Darren; his brothers, sisters, bothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his nephews, nieces, relatives, friends, neighbours and all who knew and loved him. Eddie was a lifelong supporter of our club and a distinguished community person, who was actively involved in the current redevelopment of St. Mary’s Hall Urbleshanny, where he was chairman of the committee. Last month, Eddie was safely taxiing patrons from the Scotstown complex after the Ulster final night celebrations, a recent example of the immense community work Eddie devoted, and he will be greatly missed by everyone in the community and beyond. May Eddie’s gentle soul Rest In Peace. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
