Scotstown Ladies Football
Ladies Fixtures
Hard luck to our senior ladies who lost their first Senior-Intermediate amalgamated
league game. The girls faced Emmet Og who rank as a senior team, in their first
competitive league game. A scoreline of 3.13 to 3.07 did not reflect on the large
efforts the ladies put on in the second half in very difficult stormy conditions.
A very much youthful and experimental Scotstown team were up against it from the
off. Scotstown to their credit fought and battled hard throughout the game and with
no less than eight girls making their senior debut the future surely looks good for
Ladies football within the club. The game seen 8 girls make their Scotstown senior
Ladies debut, congratulations to; Clionagh, Aimeé, Grace, Aoife, Saloni, Uainin,
Aoife and Eadaoin. Welcome to the team.
Up next for the ladies is Aughnamullen away in 2 weeks’ time. More information in
next weeks notes.
